There are lots of ways to contribute to a local 5K, 10K or marathon. Your hotel could spend a nominal amount for your logo to be displayed on race t-shirts along with other sponsors. You could purchase booth space to hand out foam drink koozies, key chains, refrigerator magnets and other inexpensive giveaway items to the event’s participants and spectators.

Your hotel could even enter its own team of employees to participate in the walk, building employee morale along with community awareness. A small investment in team t-shirts with your hotel’s name on them worn during the walk also puts the word out about your hotel. 2. Display local artwork
